the pulse of nyc

(MTA RE-BRAND)

The Pulse of NYC is a proposal for a rebrand of the Metro Transit Authority (MTA). At the core of this design was the idea that the subway is the pulse of New York City: the lifeline that connects people, places, and things. Our group aimed to both update and modernize the feel of the MTA, and to emphasize the subway experience as integral to life in NYC.

Rebranded subway cars, ephemera, uniforms, and more were accompanied by a social media campaign encouraging riders to post about why they love the MTA.

Group collaborators included: Cody Bolanos, Ayla Cobb, Lauren Suiter, and Manon Vergerio. Designs pictured are my contributions.
